Originally from Peru and raised in Madison, Eugenia is a social entrepreneur and global connector dedicated to equity through access. She does this by creating space and opportunities for black and brown leaders at the intersection of business, leadership and community. She is co-founder of Synergy Coworking where she spearheads and supports local inclusive economic empowerment and leadership initiatives and collaborations.
Eugenia is also Vice President, Leadership and Social Impact at Vital Voices Global Partnership, an international women's leadership nonprofit in Washington, D.C. that invests in women leaders who are taking on the world’s greatest challenges. There, she oversees programs including the Google Impact Challenge and the VV GROW Fellowship, a global one-year accelerator for women-owned SMEs.
Eugenia received her BA in Spanish Literature and Hispanic Studies, Masters and Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also studied International Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima and worked on women-led tourism development efforts.
